At Dowel and Plane we love our beautiful planet. In fact, at Dowel and Plane we love it so much that we have decided to be the change we want to see. That is why we take old, pre-loved and pre-owned wood and turn it into beautiful, bespoke and contemporary pieces of home and garden furniture. We are a husband and wife team who got tired of corporate life and decided we wanted a better world to bring up our children in. Therefore, rather than use newly cut wood, we use reclaimed and recycled wood. All of the electricity that powers our tools comes from green sources (we use Ecotricity). And where possible, we deliver locally using our electric vehicle.
